If you're trying to lose weight or gain muscle other than exercise you need a good diet. One of the best muscle building foods is egg white. World War Two was the biggest armed conflict in human history, it was a war invloving 61 countries and over 1.7 billion people which was 75% of the worlds population at that time. An estimated forty to seventy million people lost their lives in World War II. 

To understand the beginning of World War II you must first know the end of World War I, at the end of the First World War Germany was forced under the Treaty of Versailles to surrender land, pay for the damages done by its army to other countries and decrease the size of their Army to almost non-existent levels. Because of the treaty Germany had to surrender 13% of its territory and lost all of its colonies. All of this led to unrests in Germany and the increasingly harder economic situation in the country allowed Adolf Hitler's Nazi party to take power in the state by promoting nationalism and remilitarization of the country. By 1933, partly thanks to the Great Depression Hitler was appointed German Chancellor, using the Reichstag Fire as proof of the dangers that certain groups are a danger for Germany he made Paul von Hindenburg sign the Enabling Act which would give him almost absolute power. Only months later Germany would become a totalitarian state with Hitler as supreme leader. 

With the goal of increasing the German living space he started remilitarizing the country and annexed Austria and a part of Czechoslovakia. To prevent another war France and Britain allowed him to take the territory but in return he had to stop invading any other countries. He would soon break that agreement and invade the whole territory of Czechoslovakia, when Germany made demands for Polish territory Britain and France took a stance not to allow him to take it. Finally in 1939 Hitler invaded Poland and France and Britain declared war on Germany, this was the beginning of World War II.

The Iraq War or Operation Iraqi Freedom as it is commonly referred to in the US began on March 20th in 2003 under the George W. Bush administration and under Tony Blair, at the time British prime minister Tony Balir. The war began when Ameircan troops invaded Iraq, the reason for the invasion was a fear by the US and UK that Iraq might have weapons of mass destruction, specifically nuclear weapons with balistic missiles. 

Oficially the war began on the first invasion on March 20th, 2003, this first invasion was lead by US General Tommy Franks, other than the US there were other countries participating in the war as well, throughout the war 40 countries were invloved in the war by suppling: troops, equipment, Special Forces etc. In the initial invasion the US prepared over 240 000 of their own troops, the British sent 45 000 of their troops and another 2000 troops came from Australia and other nations. For the first years of the war the US Army wanted to accomplish certain goals. 

The main objective for the US Army was to stop the production of any potential weapons of mass destruction and remove Saddam Hussein from the country. Removing Saddam Hussein probably became the main goal after the initial years of the war. In 2003 he was apprehended and series of trials took place, he was found guilty for crimes against humanity and sentenced to death by hanging. 

Because of the cost of this war, both financial and in human lives has made the Iraq War very unpopular with the American public and the war has been contraversial since it's beginning because of aqusations of the war being illegal, that there was no risk of weapons of mass destruction and Hussein's trial being a kangaroo court.

In the early days of basketball the American public wasn't too fond of professional basketball because the general opinion was that it was more about making money than the sport. Americans preferred the stick to the sport college basketball, as they years passed people accepted professional basketball but college basketball is extremely popular to this day. 

Perhaps the most popular college basketball event is the NCAA Tournament, which only grows in popularity year after year. It dates back to 1905 when it was formed because of the brutality in football of the time where frequent injuries and even deaths lead to many institutions dismissing football. In the early days the NCAA was mainly there to regulate rules for football until the NCAA national championship was held in 1921. From that point on the NCAA would have more and more championships. 

Today most people know the NCAA by the NCAA Basketball championship which currently has over 340 college basketball teams playing in the first division. This is quite a leap from the original number in 1939 when the tournament had its roots. As mentioned the first NCAA Tournament game was held in 1939 at the time it only had eight teams. Because of World War II the tournament doesn't have a chance to expand until 1951 where it expands to a total of 16 teams. Five years later in 1956 the tournament becomes divided in four regions. 

In 1975 the NCAA tournament again expands this time to 32 teams and the following year the Indiana squad has a perfect season without a single defeat and defeat Michigan in their championship game. Once again in 1979 the tournament is expanded to 40 teams and in that year college football has its biggest moment in TV as well. With a TV rating of 24.1 that game became the most watched college basketball game.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are among the youngest teams in the NFL. They got their name from their hometown of Jacksonville. They had their first appearance in 1995 and have been a very good team ever since. Their home stadium is a piece of history in itself, the original stadium was built in 1927 during the Great Depression, but it was rebuilt to suite today's needs and today it is known as EverBank Field.

The state of Florida didn't have a new professional team since they got the Tampa Bay Bucks in 1976. Even though they already had 2 NFL teams they wanted yet another one. So in 1991 an application to the NFL was made to grand them a new team. It was decided that the new team would have their home in Jacksonville. There is a reason why Florida wants so many football teams, Jacksonville is the largest city by area in the United States, so the future team would have a huge potential fan base. That alone makes Jacksonville a good choice for a new NFL team.

A lot of stats like Missouri, Tennesse and North Carolina thought that it wasn't really fair that Florida should get yet another pro football team since they already have 2 NFL teams but Florida was determined to bring a team to Jacksonville nonetheless. The team was named as the Jacksonville Jaguars, there were some problems regarding the future home stadium of the Jaguars as the renovation of the Gator Bowl, but that problem was soon solved and season ticket sales began. In only 10 days more than 10,000 tickets were sold and on November 31 1993 the team was officially announced to more than 25,000 fans and another 10 days from that another 55,000 tickets were sold.

Later that same year the Gator Stadium was almost completely demolished and on its grounds a new stadium was being built but as a symbolic gesture a few things from the old stadium remained as well, so that it doesn't feel like a whole new stadium and shows it's roots. The first season of the Jaguars in 1996 was a big success for such a young team; they won 6 out of 7 final games and finished the season with a 9-7 record.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a football team from Tampa, they're also commonly called "bucks" by their fans. They are part of the South Division of the NFC. They became a part of the National Football League in 76' as an expansion team. The Bucks didn't have a really good start in their career not only did they lose their first 26 matches but the local fans from Tampa Bay didn't like them either. They improved in the early 80s but it didn't last long and another losing streak began shortly after.

Coming into the late 90s they were known as a good team and made the playoffs often. As time passed their game was better and better, in 2003 they won the Super Bowl which is quite an accomplishment considering their bad results in the 80s.

The name of the team was chosen in a contest and they're named after an annual festival that happens in Tampa called Gasparilla Pirate Festival. The home stadium of the Bucks is the Tampa Stadium which seats over 72,000 people.

As mentioned the team didn't have an easy start, they lost 26 games before they won their first game in 97' against the New Orleans Saints.

Into the 80s the game of the Bucks improved but now they faced some financial problems, but when the owners of the team changed and under Jon Gruden as coach the team recovered swiftly. Gruden was motivated to make the team successful because he was from the same area. He worked heavily on the offense of the team and at around the same time the team was placed into the South Division of the NFC. Gruden also improved the defense of the team and after a lot of work in 2002 they had their best season ever, they became NFC South champions that year with a record of 12-4. They even managed to defeat Gruden's former team The Raiders of Oakland despite the Raiders' reputation as the top offense in the league.

The Baltimore Ravens started playing in 96' after they were moved from Cleveland by Art Modell, though while in Cleveland they were known as the Cleveland Browns. Moving the team of course wasn't an easy task and he had to agree with the National Football League and the city of Cleveland that the team history, colors, logos and stats would be left behind. So even though a lot, if not most of the players from the Browns were also in the Cleveland Browns but the NFL thought of them as a new team. The team was an instant hit, they even won the first Super Bowl they were in, in 2000.

After only 5 seasons of playing the Ravens established their Ring of Honor to honor the best players from the current team and the past teams in the city. The induction into the Ring of Honor started in 2001 and ever since happened nearly every year. Here are some of the people that were honored.

In 2001 running back Earnest Byner became one of the few members in the Ring. He played for both the Browns and the Ravens.

In 2002 After Pro Football Hall of Fame member Johnny Unitas died, the Ravens made him and the whole Boltimore Colts team part of their Ring of Honor. Some members that were specifically honored wee: Jim Parker, Ted Hendricks,Lenny Moore and John Mackey.



In 2003 Art Modell himself was inducted into the Ring for his accomplishment of bringing football back to Baltimore.

In 2004 the Ravens inducted Micheal McCarry the star linebacker of the Ravens.

In 2006 Linebacker Peter Boulware was also inducted into the Ring of Honor.

In 2008 The first player that was drafted for the Ravens, offensive lineman Jonathan Ogden is inducted into the Ring of Honor. He played in 11 Pro Bowls while he was with the team.

Detroit Lions fans probably aren't too happy with their team lately. Their current losing streak of 0 victories and 12 losses makes them one of the worst teams in the entire history of the National Football League. Currently they don't have a change of winning anything, even though they didn't have any major wins throughout the decades this must be the worst year in their history.

Even the most loyal Lions fans must be asking themselves is it worth the constant frustration and disappointment year after year, season after season, if they continue losing like this they will not only lose the games but even their most loyal fans.

Detroit is also losing interest in the team, though not for the same reason as the fans. The reason why Detroit is losing interest in the Lions is actually because of the economy, the Detroit Lions are owned by the Ford family, as in Ford Motor Company. Many people believe that the Lions' performance is a reflection of the state the Motor Company was in during the crisis.

Also the people of Detroit in general don't care for the Lions anymore, a lot of the games aren't even broadcast anymore because games that aren't sold out don't get broadcast, so even the few fans out there probably don't get to watch the games.

One of the reasons why the lions might not be performing well is because they don’t have to. Everyone makes money this way. They can use the stadium for free because it is paid by the citizens of Detroit, the Ford family makes money on the licenses, they players are paid in millions per year so really why should anyone bother.

So what does the future hold for the Detroit Lions ? Probably nothing. If the team doesn't start performing better and winning games fast the team could even stop to exist. It is never too late to improve, but if the Lions don't do it soon they will probably lose all interest of the people, if there is any left that is.
